FW17 “Walk With Me” Patch Denim

Raf Simons Black Patch Denim. F/W17 marked Raf Simons’s move to New York after taking the mantle and heading Calvin Klein. The collection mostly revolved around Milton Glaser’s work like the “I LOVE NY” design, parroted mottos used in service industries such as “THANK YOU”/”HAVE A NICE DAY” and other urban elements. Raf Simons conveyed the novelty and awe of tourism in New York in his show. As he said in his own words ” I wanted to go back to how I experienced New York in the beginning and combine it with how I experience it now.” I guess with his official arrival in New York he mixed in particular mementos to his FW17 collection that made the audience conceive Raf’s personal view on the city.
