Gucci by Tom Ford SS02 or SS03 Hand Painted Floral Camp Shirt. Tom Ford hand painted florals serve as a cornerstone for Gucci designs by Michele today. Coupled with Gucci's sense of luxury, Ford pushed his own sexually charged youth quake agenda in his early 2000's seasons followed by extravagant leisure wear with polarizing proportions. Models were bare-chested or lightly clothed, overshadowed by detailed silk robes. Camp shirt shown here is a modest rendition of Gucci's floral designs on the runway, resembling some of the chipper and vibrant designs Gucci adopted in the early 00's. 7.5/10 condition. Gucci SS17 back embroidered "Modern Future" Crewneck. "Modern Future" was a slogan used throughout SS17 and the words were plastered on bags, sweats and jackets. Even Alessandro Michele really didn't resonate with the words so I'm guessing it has something to do with the season's retro theming and romantic clash of garments from a myriad of cultures...  which makes it futuristic? Gucci tends to introduce a lot of these words without context or reason, perhaps it may be some kind of abstract language that resonates with wearers that relate to the text, who knows. It may be an ironic play on garments that just throw words on clothing for the textual design aspect. Whatever it means Alessandro Michele is Definitely the "future" for Gucci as he continues to blur the line between men's and women's runway. New with tag. Size M

Gucci western denim shirt by Tom Ford. Pearl button clasps on placket and extended wrists. Denim fade on chest, back, yoke and throughout. Western pockets and design elements. Tom Ford's stay at Gucci revived the Italian brand, and with that upbringing Ford projected his most provocative, lavish and somewhat unconventional designs in his last 3-4 years on the Gucci throne. 7.5/10 condition. Small stain to placket. Sz 50 fits medium to large.
